Ursus Return

Explore the heart of Clayoquot Sound taking in the sights of the Ursus Valley trail on foot, then ditch the hiking boots and enjoy the return leg of the journey in style.

Perfectly timed to hop in the waiting heli, lift-off for a scenic tour of the alpine including the Mount Mariner Glacier, which feeds the lodge’s own Bedwell River, and the surrounding alpine peaks.

Skim down low over the Bedwell River before touching down on the green grassy lawn of the Outpost where a cool drink awaits.

The Ursus River Return can be chosen for either legs of the journey, inbound or outbound, of the Ursus Valley hike.
