MS Fridtjof Nansen

MS Roald Amundsen & MS Fridtjof Nansen are the first hybrid vessels of their size and a testament to modern engineering. The electric power allows the engines to function at optimal levels, which lowers fuel usage and CO2 emissions substantially.

The MS Fridtjof Nansen is a state-of-the-art expedition ship owned and operated by Hurtigruten Expeditions. Built in 2020, she is named after the famous Norwegian explorer, scientist, and humanitarian, Fridtjof Nansen.

The ship is designed to be environmentally friendly, with hybrid propulsion systems and other innovative technologies to reduce her carbon footprint. She is also equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for exploration, including custom-built expedition equipment and a science center where guests can learn about the places they are visiting.

On board, guests can enjoy stylish and comfortable cabins, several restaurants, a wellness center, and a range of other amenities designed to enhance their expedition experience.
