Daintree & Cape Tribulation
Join Port Douglas Tropical Trips for an ‘all stations’ tour of the Daintree. A guided walk on sacred Country, crocodile spotting on a Daintree River cruise, swimming in a pristine waterhole and heat-beating icy treats are all on the cards.
The first stop is Mossman Gorge for an Indigenous guided walk through the rainforest and the opportunity to learn about the Kuku Yalanji people’s deep spiritual connection to the land.
Next, it’s off to cruise along the Daintree River, keeping eyes peeled for the famed reptilian residents. The adventure continues with a river crossing before a stop to drink in the views over the coastal lowlands and the Great Barrier Reef from Alexandra Lookout. Refuel with a gourmet picnic beside a private waterhole – the perfect spot for a cooling swim.
Then it’s time to visit Cape Tribulation proper, for a stroll along the beach – rainforest on one side, reef on the other. Cap off the day with a sweet treat at the Daintree Icecream Company. Yum!
Maximum 7 people. Includes barbecue lunch. Available as a private charter on request.
