Adelaide City River Precinct Walking Tour
Your walking guide will introduce you to some of the sights of the city while sharing stories about the old and new of the North Terrace precinct, including how Adelaide got its name along with some quirky facts that few people know.
Adelaide is the site of many government and financial institutions, most of which are concentrated in the city centre along the cultural boulevards of North Terrace.
Your guide will point out highlights including Parliament and Government houses, Sir Donald Bradman statue, War Memorial, South Australian Museum, Old Police Barracks and Armoury, Migration Museum, Adelaide Oval and St Peter’s Cathedral.
After working up an appetite, finish your walk at the historic Adelaide Oval where you will enjoy a light, continental breakfast, before you return to the Indian Pacific to continue your journey.
